MusicMakers offers a range of music classes to children from three months old to teens. Children's responsiveness to and appreciation of music should be encouraged from birth, however individual instrumental tuition should not be given until the child has the concentration for a half hour lesson and a desire to learn an instrument. Lessons in instruments such as piano, violin and guitar do not generally begin before the age of six or seven and lessons in brass and woodwind instruments much later. Singing lessons can start at any age but technical work usually begins around fifteen or sixteen. MusicMakers classes follow a gently guided plan or format
